POS SM went to Geum-jung mountain climbing on April 1, 2017 for praying the achievement of management goals and safety operation.
Not just for the POS SM employees but also more than 30 marine employees including Pan Ocean Maritime Labor union, Captain, and Chief Engineers participated in this meaningful event. Guem-jung mountain hiking course is about 6.5km and it takes about 3 hours(from Beomeosa Temple to Geumjeongsanseong Village). We gathered in the early morning and started to do a light exercise. More than 110 staffs have started walking with light steps.
After a hard ascent course, we took a commemorative photo at the North Gate. A scenery in the field while moving along the ridge was a spectacular sight to forget about the hardship that had come to the top.
We arrived at the end of the journey, the Geumjeong Mountain after about 3 hours hiking. After a meal in Geumjeongsanseong Village in Geumjeong Mt, foot volleyball competition was held. At the end of the tough competition for the championship, the team of fleet 2, maritime planning team, and shipbuilding technology team won the tournament and get the prize.
It was a little rainy day, but the hiking was finished safely and pleasantly in the refreshing spring weather. We all enjoyed funny time, and it was a good event to be able to get along well.
