POS SM, Holding 8th Anniversary Celebration

October 16th, 2023, POS SM celebrated its 8th anniversary. Starting this year, the foundation day was designated as a holiday, and the celebration was held on the 13th, earlier than foundation day. It was meaningful in that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was the first anniversary event attended by all employees in about four years and since CEO Kim Myeong-su was inaugurated. 

In the first order of the event, there were rewards for 10 long-term workers. In these days, while the concept of lifelong work has faded, we have delivered plaques and prizes in appreciation of long-term employees who have devoted themselves to the company for more than 10 years with consistent devotion and sincere working attitude. 

Afterwards, CEO Kim Myeong-su addressed his congratulatory speech for the 8th anniversary and requested to them, "Despite difficult challenges, POS SM was able to become what it is today, thanks to the passion and efforts of all employees." In addition, he said, "There has not been a difficult moment, but I hope you will make every effort to support safe operation and reduce costs in consideration of the worsening shipping market and do your best in your respective positions," and concluded, "All employees should be wary of insensitive attitudes toward work ethics and strive to practice ethical management so that the foundation for ESG management can be strengthened." 

The official event ended with a cake cutting ceremony to commemorate the foundation. After the official event, refreshments were provided and all employees ate such as pizza, chicken, and rice cakes and a raffle event was proceeded. it was short, but a precious time where all employees gathered in one place to laugh and have fun together.
