POS SM (CEO Myung-Soo Kim) and KR (Chairman Hyung-Chul Lee) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to build a platform-based system between a shipping company and class on January 30 at the head office of KR.

In line with the era of the 4th industry, this agreement was developed as the integration of ICT technology in the field of shipping was actively progressed, and the necessity of a marine platform system to efficiently exchange big data between companies increased.

POS SM and KR (Korean Register of Shipping), which are the Korea's largest professional ship management company and Korea's only class, are planning to increase the productivity and efficiency of ship operation management by realizing paperless, ie, business simplicity by applying BPA to their own IT system.

Through this agreement, the two companies are planning to establish a platform-based system between a shipping company and class by cooperating in ship inspection field, international agreement software field, ship emission greenhouse gas regulation field, and CBM automatic collection of ship data.

Kim Myung-su, CEO of POS SM, said, "The ship industry has entered the era of ship digitization based on big data across all sectors." and “We will continue to expand technology exchanges with various companies as well as KR (Korean Register of Shipping), to build an efficient ship operation management system.”
